Less than a 10-minute drive from the Conegliano–Valdobbiadene Prosecco Hills, an hour from the Dolomites, and an hour from the Adriatic coast and Venice. Three UNESCO World Heritage Sites within easy reach for a ‘day trip’. This sums up the fortunate location of the municipality of Sarmede on the map.
When staying at Ca’ Sverio, as well as enjoying the local attractions, you can decide on the day to visit some of Italy’s most stunning and iconic places, travelling from the coast to the mountains in less than two hours.
The main airports are less than an hour’s drive away: Venice (Marco Polo) is about 50 minutes away and Treviso (Canova) is just 40 minutes away. The nearest railway stations are Vittorio Veneto (15 minutes) and Sacile (20 minutes). From Vittorio Veneto station, you can take the bus and reach us in just over twenty minutes.
Once you’ve arrived here, however, there’s no need to travel by car. Montaner is, in fact, the starting point for numerous walks, including some trails that lead all the way to the Cansiglio Forest and others that will take you, in less than an hour, to Piazza di Sarmede – home to the International Children’s Illustration Exhibition – or to Fregona, home to the famous Caglieron Caves.
With the e-bikes that Ca’ Sverio provides for its guests, you’ll be able to get around easily, reaching even slightly more distant destinations with little effort – such as the town of Vittorio Veneto, rich in history and architectural and natural beauty, or the Revine Lakes, home to the Livelet Educational Archaeological Park.
